Mammals in Gobi region includes: Snow Leopard, Argali sheep, Siberian Ibex, Goitered Gazelle, Mongolian Gazelle, Wild Ass, Red Fox, Corsac Fox, Grey Wolf, Marbled Polecat, Pallas’s Cat etc.
Overview
Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Welcome to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Upon arrival, we will greet you at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Short city tour if you arrive by early flight. LD
Day 2-7. Snow leopard site, Southgobi
After breakfast, drive to Dalanzadgad, Southgobi/ 600km. And next morning, we will drive to to the big cat site. We will spend the next 5 days exploring the Govi Gurvan Saikhan /3 beauties of gobi/ National Park, searching for the elusive big cat, watching other mammals and resident birds such as: Lammergeier /Yol in Mongolian, Golden Eagle, Chukar, and Mongolian Ground jay. If successfully observed the big cat, option to visit some sightseeing places and stay in Dalanzdgad for the last night.
Day 8. Ulaanbaatar
Early morning, after having breakfast we will drive to Ulaanbaatar. Farewell dinner. Stay at hotel. BLD
Day 9. Departure
This morning after breakfast, transferred to the airport for your departure flight. B
